BLUEBERRY. CARAMEL. VANILLA.
Working through the day. Working through the night. Text. E-mail. Get the kids up. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. You are stormtrooping through the day like a clockwork ninja. It’s time to calm the proverbial ham. Working from home is majestic and horrific. You cannot do it all. So don’t. Pop the kettle on and take a timeout. This Colombian coffee is about kicking back and taking a little time to yourself. Relax. It’s you time. Hashtag the soft fruity characters of this coffee have a palpable toffee kick and super cleansing back note of faint lemongrass.
It makes a generous french press cafetiere and filter style coffee that feels thick and chewy without being overbearing. When made as an espresso it is like sipping a super rounded Werther’s Original laden with fresh Amalfi Coast lemon zest. Just for good measure.

The Full Story
Colombia being the third largest coffee producing country in the world they certainly know their stuff. This particular variant is picked at the peak of ripeness with maximum sweetness in mind. Depulping is done without the use of any water before the 19 - 22 hour fermentation process commences. The beans are then fully washed and dried. All of this yields supreme fruitiness as well as a round body.
The team at Café Granja La Esperanza hand select each bean individually. This extra time and effort ensures overwhelming quality. Esperanza translates to hope in Spanish speaking Colombia. This is a coffee of hope. A resurgent and exciting path to the good times ahead. Cheers to that.
