Aye, Ya Belter
TANGERINE. COLA. LIME HONEY.
From the misty mountains and jungle depths of Cajamarca, Peru, comes this wee dazzler of a coffee. Washed to perfection, it's seriously juicy with bright notes of tangerine, a splash of Cola sweetness, and a drizzle of lime honey to tie it all together. Sometimes coffee names can be a head scratcher, but not this one. We made a cup, we sipped and then we thought to ourselves... Aye, Ya Belter. Perfectly balanced between sweet and juicy, this Peruvian beaty is a treat for your senses that every good morning needs :)

ALTITUDE: 1700-1900 maslThe Cajamarca region is located in the northern part of Peru. It is divided into thirteen provinces and its capital is the city of Cajamarca. Coffee is grown almost entirely in the provinces of Jaén and San Ignacio. The land includes two biospheres: mountains and jungle.
The main coffee-growing areas are in the jungle. The climate is temperate in the valleys and warm in the streams. The terrain is relatively rugged because the land crosses through the western cordillera of the Andes.
Farmers in Cajamarca cultivate coffee at 900 to 1,950 meters above sea level on farms that are, on average, 1 to 5 hectares in size.
