Neon IPA is the kind of coffee that ignores the dress code and orders the most vivid thing on the menu. Bright, floral and unapologetically expressive, it hits the cup with apple blossom, elderflower and juicy peach, followed by a soft swirl of violet florals that hangs around long after the last sip.
Delicate? Absolutely. Quiet? Not a chance. Expect serious aromatics, ridiculous sweetness and absolutely no interest in behaving itself.
This coffee comes from 1,200 smallholder producers in the Uraga woreda of Guji. You’ll notice the extremely small beans; this makes them more concentrated as they take longer to grow on the coffee plants.

ALTITUDE: 1850 maslEthiopia holds near-legendary status not only as the “birthplace” of Arabica coffee, but because its coffee culture is fundamentally different from every other origin. Unlike most coffee-growing countries, where the plant was introduced as a colonial cash crop, coffee in Ethiopia has been woven into everyday life for centuries: grown, processed, and consumed as a natural part of the social and cultural fabric.
In the Guji highlands, farmers cultivate coffee gardens at very high altitudes in rich red soil, creating a distinct profile from neighboring regions. The Arsosala washing station, founded in 2015 in the Uraga woreda, serves around 1,200 smallholders who deliver cherries that are picked ripe and depulped the same day, then fermented overnight, washed, and dried on raised beds.
Neon IPA coffee cherries are regarded as "premium" because they are from a limited number of small-holder farmers. 90% of the cherries are perfectly picked, the right red color. 5% semi red and 5% overripe. All are processed and stored separately from other lots, yielding only a very small number of bags each year.
