282 Munros. Countless boggy ascents, sideways rain, false summits and the odd glorious view. When one of our founders finally stood on the last of Scotland's 3,000-footers, there was only one way to mark the occasion: with a coffee worth the climb.
The Summit comes from the highlands of Jalapa in south-east Guatemala, where coffee grows on steep volcanic slopes not unlike the hills that inspired it. In the cup it's pure bothy comfort: warm toast spread thick with jam, with a juicy sweetness that keeps you coming back for another mug. It's just the thing for a flask on the hill or a well-earned brew once your boots are off.
Here's to every Munro bagger, hillwalker and summit chaser. However many you've done, this one's for you.
