Alchemy, also affectionately named after our savonnier’s favourite live album from Dire Straits, is a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination. Moreover, we were inspired by trips to London’s specialty coffee shops with fine soaps and felt compelled to create a Scottish liquid hand wash that stands out from the rest. This is our magical creation.
Sun soaked family hiking trips in Southern Italy with its abundance of citrus fruits, compelled our savonnier to make Sicilian Bergamot and Sweet Orange Peel the headline act in our aromatic profile. An immersive flashback to heady aromas, beautiful ocean views and the reddest of sunsets. Black Pepper is included to lift the formulation up a couple of gears. Much like its use in gastronomy, its effect here is to heighten and amplify the underlying botanicals without dominating the symphony. Enchanting but not beguiling. It offers that perfect dose of je ne sais quoi. Alchemy is the kind of liquid hand wash that just makes you want to wash your hands again and again. Just for the sheer pleasure.
